On a
MISSION from DOG
Walking Adventures in Africa
The true tale of a woman finally living in the country of her dreams - Kenya. Fearful of tales she's been told, and distraught her new husband isn't interested in exploring, Lorraine buries herself in their home. Lorraine is lured outdoors by 'DOG', a flea infested animal who arrives on the doorstep. Realizing if she waits for her husband she won't go anywhere, she packs DOG into a 1983 Land Rover for their first adventure - Tanzania.
While pack of two delve further into the wilds and visit nomadic tribes Lorraine wonders, 'Could the best traveling companion for me, be DOG?'
Intent on exploring the heart of Africa, she ignores her own when DOG's old street mate appears. Bruiser repeatedly reveals the path to happiness, and Lorraine repeatedly turns him away. Who can travel with two dogs? Fear again makes her blind - this time to a powerful love. When Lorraine eventually searches for Bruiser, she discovers he's run away. Accompanied by DOG, Lorraine embarks on an epic rescue mission and ultimately decides, 'If I can't travel there with my dogs, the place isn't worth exploring.'
